The Christmas Tag - 2020

Hey readers,

This year, not only have I done 12 days of blogmas, but I have also been tagged for The Christmas Tag. How amazing is that? I want to say a big big thank you to Mind. Beauty. Simplicity for tagging me in my very first Christmas Tag. Please do check out her awesome blog. She's doing Blogmas right now and her posts are very interesting. She follows minimalism which is even better! Click on the link above to check out her blog, you won't regret it, I promise!

The Christmas Tag Rules

  • Put on your favorite Christmas playlist to listen while answering
  • Have a Christmas drink and/or snack while writing
  • Thank the blogger who tagged you and leave a link to their site
  • Answer the 10 original questions
  • Answer the questions set by whoever tagged you
  • Ask 2 questions of your own
  • Tag 6 bloggers to take part

When do your decorations go up?

I like to start early, I decorate on the first week of November.

What film do you have to watch every festive season?

Home Alone & Elf. They are a must watch.

Who do you find hardest to buy presents for?

I'd say it is mostly people who I don't know personally. I avoid giving gift cards during Christmas as it is not very personal (according to me) but sometimes, I am not sure what else to gift them.

What did you leave out for Santa when you were a child?

I am going to be honest here, I don't think I left Santa anything (oops).

Where did you spend last Christmas?

At home with my family. It is always nice to have a fun family time.

Which Christmas song makes you cringe?

Baby, It's Cold Outside

If you could be a character in a Holiday Movie, who would it be & why?

Based on my favorite Christmas movie, I am going to go with Kevin ( in home Alone 2). He gets to explore New York during Christmas time. How beautiful must that be! I love the part where he makes a wish to see his family in the Rockefeller Plaza.

Have you ever had a white Christmas?

Yes, I live in a country where we are lucky enough to have a winter season. I think I've always had a white Christmas (not exactly sure) but I am hoping for another one this year.

What is the best Christmas gift you have ever received?

I am a huge Friends fan, so the greatest gift I ever got was a bundle of a friends book, a mug, magnets & a phot clip holder (all friends themed) along with some chocolates given by my family.

What is your favorite Christmas memory?

Spending Christmas with my family while I visited India. It was a whole different experience.

The rule is to tag 6 bloggers but since I am kind of late for this tag as it is Christmas week, I encourage any blogger who's interested into taking part of this tag to participate. If you have never been tagged for this, please do participate, it is super fun and I would love to see your answers.

Thank you, once again, to Mind.Beauty.Simplicity for this wonderful opportunity. Check out her blog by clicking the link here: Mind.Beauty.Simplicity

As I am writing this, there is only 4 days left for Christmas. I want to wish you all a vey Merry Christmas. May you be blessed with lots of joy and love. Enjoy your time with family and have some good rest. Also, stay safe!

~ Thank you for reading and happy blogging ~

Because I said I would cards

Hey readers,

I have something to share with you guys. It is an amazing website that's called Because I said I would.

Because I said I would is a social movement and nonprofit dedicated to the betterment of humanity. Our mission is to strengthen humanity’s will. Because I said I would encourages and supports making and keeping promises to end suffering, establish peace and build happiness.  We created the Promise Card to help hold people accountable to their commitments.
- Because I said I would

So basically, all you need to do is to make a request by filling out a form and they will send you 10 promise cards by mail without any cost.
You might be thinking that you could simply write those in a journal or anything so why bother doing that? Well, these cards can fit about just anywhere and so you can always just put one in your bag, purse or wallet and it will be like a reminder for you which is awesome.

What to do with the card?
- Write a different goal on each card.
- Fulfill the promise.
- Share your experience on their website, in a blog, any social media or simply with your friends or family.

PS: You can have little goals that are simple too. Here are a few examples I took from the website.

I truly hope that we all achieve our goals or at least one of them. Whether they are big or small, it does not matter as long as you tried. Let's keep trying and we will certainly achieve our goals.

What are your goals? Do share your story with people and inspire them! :)

Random Words Challenge

Hey amazing readers, so I have been nominated for the Random Words Challenge by my Blogger Buddy +Eve Estelle. (Check out her blog for amazing things http://eveofnight.blogspot.ca/) Thanks to her I get to do this :)

Rules:

*Paste the random words picture (On Your Right) onto your blog post.
*Leave a new list of questions (or just pass on the question list that  you answered) and tag a few random people of your choice (if possible, say why you tagged them! Be original and nonsensical in your question-creativity—make the blogging world a cheerful place).
*Write down three facts about yourself and make one of them WRONG. Let your commenter's guess which one is false (and, after a while, tell them in the comments).
*Answer the questions of the person who tagged you—make it all super random and interesting.
Three Facts (Guessing game)

Guess which one of these facts is wrong. Have fun! :)

1) I love colorful things.
2) I enjoy rainy days.
3)  I have never owned a pet.
Eve's Questions.

1. If you're a writer, what genre do you enjoy writing in the most (e.g. fantasy, dark, romance..)? If you're a reader, which do you enjoy reading the most?
Unfortunately, I am only a reader. I mostly enjoy reading romance novels . I also love fantasies with a little touch of romance that makes you want to read more and more. I just love it when people who are meant to be end up together. I hate books who doesn't have a happy ending. I feel like I have wasted my time reading it. I adore books that makes you think and specially when you are finish reading the last page and you know exactly what the moral of the story is.

2. Are you more of a night owl or a morning bird?

I would think of myself as a morning bird because I am most likely to wake up before 9 a.m.

3. Favorite flower?

There are various beautiful flowers but my favorite ones are lotuses.

4. Let's say you randomly decide to wear a watch. Would you pick a pocket watch or a wristwatch to help you tell the time?

Although it would be really cool to own a pocket watch, I would stick to a wristwatch.

5. Your friend is at work, it's your day off, and it's also lunchtime. Your friend doesn't get to go on lunch break, and calls you to ask if you'd bring food. You'd have to walk an hour to deliver the food. Do you do it?

As much as I'd hate to do that, I would still do it for my friend because without food, she may became a monster.:P
Questions for you
I had a lot of fun answering these questions that Eve passed on and I actually got to learn more about the type of person I am. So I would like to tag all of you reading this post to do the same and I would really love to read your answers to get to know you better.
