How to Legally Protect Your Blog: Plug and Law
Hey readers,
As I have mentioned in one my latest posts, I have a lot of exciting posts coming up. This one is very important for bloggers who wants to take things on another level. We often just start blogging for fun but then comes a point where we enjoy it so much, we want to become full time bloggers and have our blogs protected. I am sure many of you have thought about this before. Well, no worries, Plug and Law got you covered.
As a content creator, we are always in the process of learning new things and spend a lot of time creating new content. Many of you must have been struggling with the coding part. But that isn't the only complicated thing about blogging. The legal part of blogging can be pretty tricky or at least it was for me. I saw a lot of blogs having their privacy policy notice but never considered it for my blog. Well, not until a few weeks ago.
Plug and Law helped me with protecting my blog legally. Honestly, the blogging community is amazing, and people are very lovely but I have read stories about a few bloggers getting their identity stolen or having copyright issues. I believe that is very unfortunate since we put in so much time and effort to share our lives, experience with an audience who can relate and understand us. It is better to be safe than sorry, right?
Thankfully, I have Plug and Law who has helped me understand the legal side of blogging. I have spoken with two people and I can say they are very friendly and mindful. Since it is all new to me, I had a lot of questions and both of them were able to answer and help me comprehend the privacy policy and terms and conditions of the service.
I feel like there isn't a lot of bloggers who discuss about the legal side of blogging. I guess, we don't really think about it until our blog becomes official or if something actually happens and we require a lawyer. Personally, I haven't thought about it until a few weeks earlier when I came across Plug and Law. I love that they they made me feel comfortable and answered all my questions. I can say I am very satisfied with the service. I have been blogging for over 5 years now, it was finally time for me start thinking about legally protecting my blog. Even if you are new to blogging and simply share your thoughts, you should think about the legal issues because you never know when you might just need it.
What I love the most, it is that its a one-time investment and they will continue to help protect your blog for a lifetime. They have everything written down for you. You just have to apply it to your blog and ta-da, you are good to go.
If you are a blogger, have a website or any kind of business and need legal advice, do not hesitate to contact them. Erika, the founder of Plug and Law, is always there to help and so is her team.
You can also have a look at their website for more information on their legal bundle. They offer various options to protect your brand, website or business.

DeleteThis is definitely an important topic! So great you're sharing this resource. I've seen some people talking on social media lately about content getting stolen. It's such a shame we have to be vigilant of that.
ReplyDeleteI know right, even when we are simply sharing our thoughts. That is kind of unusual but always better safe than to be sorry. Thank you, Alison.
DeleteYour blog didn't have a privacy policy until recently, even though you've been blogging for five years? You would have been breaching privacy laws in most countries if that was the case. You're lucky no one noticed
